About The Rouse Foundation, Inc.

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Executive Director to join our team. As a seasoned leader, you will oversee all aspects of our operations, drive strategic initiatives, and foster a culture of excellence.

Your primary responsibility will be to prepare accurate financial reports for our board of directors, assist with volunteer recruitment activities, and lead annual budget reviews. You will work collaboratively with volunteers and other professionals in the organization to ensure we achieve our annual fundraising goals and continue to build our volunteer base for future success.

Job Overview:

  • Manage the planning, organization, and direction of the organization's operations and programs.
  • Establish and maintain consistent inventory and cost accounting policies, procedures, and operational reporting/metrics.
  • Supervise the development of operations-based financial modeling.
  • Oversee and report on the organization's results for the board of directors.
  • Analyze and present fundraising results, variances, and performance trends to stakeholders.
  • Lead and manage the efforts of site staff to ensure effective support of all departments.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with volunteers, donors, and partners.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve annual fundraising goals and expand the volunteer base.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute organizational plans.
  • Implement and evaluate operational improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that services and funding relationships are aligned with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Develop and manage the organization's social media presence and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in executive or senior leadership roles, preferably in non-profit management.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute, secure, and manage grants and partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a track record of successful partnerships.
  • Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.
  • Experience with social media platforms and marketing initiatives.
