The Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration In-House Assembly Technician II to join our team. As an assembly specialist, you will be responsible for assembling HVAC and refrigeration systems, subassemblies, or components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble HVAC and refrigeration systems, subassemblies, or components
  • Ensure system and component performance conforms to specifications
  • Document and maintain manufacturing procedures for assigned devices
  • Solder copper tubing
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot defects and errors in components
  • Identify and solve problems related to broken and defective components, products, and equipment
  • Calibrate, test, and maintain production and test-associated equipment

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a high level of mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and other product specification documents in English. Additionally, highly preferred experience with soldering copper tubing is required.

Candidates should also possess excellent organizational skills, be self-motivated, and able to work independently. A High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary for this role.

Salary Information

This competitive salary position comes with a $1,000 signing bonus, paid in four installments: $250 at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year of employment. The estimated annual salary for this role is around $53,500, based on a 40-hour workweek (Monday through Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm) with optional additional hours available.
