About the Role

At Sam's Club, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Professional to join our Prepared Foods Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food products to our members.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food according to item specifications and maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
  • Communicate effectively with the members of the team and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Be an expert in food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management, and equipment operation.
  • Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Drive performance by stocking and rotating merchandise, ensuring quality and date control standards, and eliminating waste.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in food service preferred.

Salary Range

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00, with additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
