About the Role

At Retail First Corp, we're seeking an experienced Precision Machinist to join our display production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality custom displays.

Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and adjust CNC machines for efficient production, ensuring precise results and meeting quality standards.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings to maintain accuracy in production, guaranteeing that parts meet specifications.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks and make necessary adjustments to machine settings to ensure consistent high-quality results.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting efficiency and safety.
Requirements
  • Certification or Training: High school diploma or GED; CNC certification or training preferred.
  • Experience: Experience as a CNC Machine Operator, especially in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with CNC machinery, measuring tools, and blueprint interpretation is essential.
  • Skillset: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality are required.
  • Physical Demands: Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
