We are seeking a skilled Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team at University Hospital in Madison. As a Neurodiagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures and reviewing, analyzing, and preparing descriptive reports following procedures. Your main emphasis will be on high-quality patient-related procedures that adhere to guidelines and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct complex electroneurodiagnostic procedures and review, analyze, and prepare descriptive reports following procedures.
- Complete daily laboratory operations with a focus on high-quality patient-related procedures that adhere to guidelines and technical standards.
- Interact with patients and families regarding procedural direction and information, developing patient rapport and confidence.
- Implement alternative methods and/or make necessary adjustments to obtain optimal recording, adapting procedures to particular clinical circumstances.
- Assist with monitoring digital recording systems during intraoperative procedures such as carotid endarterectomies, cerebral aneurysm surgery, and thoracic aneurysm repair.
Requirements
- Graduate of an electroneurodiagnostic tech program or four years of relevant training and experience may be considered in lieu of graduation.
- One year of experience as a practicing clinical Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist.
- Current registry by the American Board of Registration of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists as a Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT).
- CPR Certification.
