Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Nicklaus Children's Health System. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in the evaluation, re-evaluation, development, and implementation of plans of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and statistics.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide recommendations based on patient needs.
  • Develop and implement plans of care that address patient deficits and goals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Florida Professional Occupational Therapist license or Provisional OT license.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Level II fingerprinting and Good Moral Character Affidavit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Pediatric internship or experience.
  • 2 years of pediatric experience.
  • AOTA and FOTA memberships.

Working Environment

This is a part-time position with benefits. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
