Asset Management Specialist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Analyst II to join our Servicing department at Northmarq in Denver, CO. As an Asset Management Analyst II, you will be responsible for underwriting borrower consent requests, calculating loan payoffs, and performing financial statement and rent roll analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to lenders, borrowers, and internal teams.
- Manage a portfolio of Agency and CMBS loans with varying requirements and regulations.
- Underwrite and make recommendations for lender consent of borrower requests, including lease approvals and maturity extensions.
- Coordinate with legal counsel and borrowers to document and close transactions.
- Calculate and coordinate loan payoff requests, including yield maintenance calculations.
- Analyze annual and quarterly financial statements for multifamily and commercial properties.
- Perform financial covenant testing calculations, including NOI, DSCR, and debt yield.
- Review property repair verification inspections and follow up with borrowers to resolve any issues.
- Monitor post-closing repairs and review recommendations for releases from reserves.
- Process insurance loss requests and manage proceeds.
- Monitor and update monthly loan reports for investors and management.
- Audit new loan boarding and setup to ensure accurate loan terms and covenants.
- Introduction to training and mentoring across teams on areas of expertise.
- Monitor and collect outstanding mortgage payments and document collection efforts.
- Serve on procedure committees updating policies for the Portfolio & Asset Management division.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in finance, real estate, or accounting.
- 2-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in commercial lending or asset management.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Familiarity with commercial real estate finance and commercial loan terminology.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Passionate about customer service and providing exceptional service to all clients.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and within a team with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Problem-solving skills to reflect a level of responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.

Compensation:
The minimum salary for the Asset Management Analyst II position is $65,000.00 annually, and the maximum salary is $88,000.00 annually, depending on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
