Pediatric Speech Therapist

Compensation: The salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. A comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan with employer matching, is also offered.
Job Description: As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will be responsible for providing comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations for students. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs, deliver engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Prehensive Speech and Language Assessments: Evaluate students' communication skills, including speech, language, and cognitive abilities.
- Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Create personalized plans to address students' unique needs and goals.
- Deliver Engaging Therapy Sessions: Utilize evidence-based techniques to provide effective and engaging therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with Teachers and Parents: Work closely with teachers and parents to support student progress and communicate effectively about student needs.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized documentation of services provided.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in munication Sciences and Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a master's degree in a related field.
- Valid SLP State License: Hold a valid SLP state license.
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA): Possess a certificate of clinical competence from ASHA, preferred.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to Work Effectively as Part of a Multidisciplinary Team: Be able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience Working with Pediatric Populations: Have experience working with pediatric populations, desirable.
