Job Description

This role offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive behavioral health services in support of multidisciplinary teams within the UCLA-Community Physicians Network (UCLA-CPN). As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Patient assessments and evaluations
  • Care coordination and consultation
  • Individual, family, or group psychotherapeutic treatment
  • Liaison with community agencies
  • Treatment plan documentation and disposition planning

You will have the flexibility to work across multiple locations, including Santa Monica, West LA, Marina Del Rey, Brentwood, and Calabasas, with the option to work up to 40% remotely. We are seeking a self-motivated and compassionate individual with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A California License and Degree (LMFT, Master's in Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical or Counseling Psychology)
  • Experience interacting with healthcare providers in a multidisciplinary setting
  • Working knowledge of general theoretical and clinical models
  • Ability to develop effective rapport and therapeutic alliances with patients
  • Skill writing clear and complete clinical notes and summaries of clinical evaluations
  • Knowledge of social work ethics and scope of practice
  • Ability to perform mental status exams and recognize changes in mental status
  • Knowledge of current community resources and ability to coordinate care with existing providers

We offer a competitive salary range of $ $83,400 - $124,800 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
