Forensic Pathologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forensic Pathologist to join our team at Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional with expertise in forensic pathology to work on investigating deaths and determining cause and manner of death.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Perform postmortem examinations and prepare detailed reports on suspicious death cases
  2. Retain and manage samples, specimens, and tissues necessary for analysis and examination
  3. Conduct technical examinations and issue preliminary reports on the cause of death when possible
  4. Keep accurate records, reports, and documentation regarding investigations
  5. Collaborate with law enforcement officials and provide expert testimony as needed
  6. Determine the need to attend death scenes or discover remains, using judgment and discretion
Requirements:
  • WA MD/DO License
  • Board certification by the American Board of Pathology
  • 3-4 years of experience practicing as a Board-Certified Forensic Pathologist
