Role Overview: As a Delivery Assistant at United Parcel Service, you will be an essential part of our team responsible for ensuring timely and efficient package delivery to customers.

Salary Information: The base pay for this position is $21.00/hour, offering excellent weekly earnings and opportunities for growth within the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • You will ride along with a Package Delivery Driver in our famous brown trucks and assist in making deliveries to customers.
  • Help get packages of all shapes and sizes exactly where they need to be by working together with the driver.
  • Perform multiple deliveries on a pre-assigned delivery route, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • The ability to lift up to 70 lbs
  • Enjoy working outside
  • Stamina, as this role requires a moderate level of physical activity
  • Labor laws require that applicants be at least 18 years old
  • An eye for detail to ensure accurate and safe delivery practices
  • Reliable and responsible attitude to meet customer expectations
  • No experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and grow with the company
  • A pair of sturdy workboots for comfort and safety during deliveries
