Nuclear Medicine Imaging Specialist

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Porter Hospital, you will provide patient services using nuclear imaging modalities. You will exercise professional judgment to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals. In collaboration with nursing associates and physicians, you will provide essential patient care. You will implement the mission, goals, and standards of practice established by the Department of Diagnostic Imaging and Porter Health System. Your duties will include performing other tasks as directed.
Education and Qualifications:
Certified in Nuclear Medicine or meet the requirements for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or the Nuclear Medicine Certification Board. Qualifications include a graduate of JRCERT Accredited educational program or equivalent. You must be licensed with the State of Indiana and hold CPR Certification within 6 months of employment. Additionally, you must be an ARRT Registered Technologist and hold a Radiologic Technologist license in the State of Indiana. Nuclear Medicine certification is required, and you must be board eligible or currently registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) and licensed in nuclear medicine with the Indiana State Department of Health INDSURGIMG.
