BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Brattleboro, Vermont.
About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Speech Therapist to work with us in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to clients in their homes. As a Speech Language Pathologist with BAYADA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients experiencing speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
- Providing education and instruction to patients, family members, or caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote independence and quality of life.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Vermont.
- Possession of a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent.
- Solid computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
