Tax Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at Block Advisors, an H&R Block brand. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
• Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning advice.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Provide tax audit support and representation to clients, ensuring a smooth and successful audit process.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and provide ongoing training and education to clients on tax-related topics.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of tax experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or tax consulting firm.
• Experience with tax preparation software, such as H&R Block's tax software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
