Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Angel Care Hospice of Arcadia Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing personalized care plans for individual patients. Our hospice team is dedicated to providing high-quality end-of-life care, and we are looking for a Registered Nurse who can operate with great attention to detail and a big heart.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate with colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  2. Communicate effectively with the hospice team regarding patient needs.
  3. Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions.
  4. Document any changes in patient conditions and report on changes timely and accurately.
  5. Promote high-quality and effective interventions and outcomes.
  6. Maintain accurate records of patient care and discuss observations with the supervisor.
  7. Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of California.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • First aid/CPR certification required.
  • Compassionate and a team player.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
