Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Commissioning Manager to lead our MEP systems commissioning efforts for data center projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commissioning, MEP systems, and construction processes, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end commissioning processes for new and existing facilities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and owner project requirements.
  • Develop and implement site-specific commissioning plans, integrating with quality control plans and ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, trade partners, and operations teams to streamline project delivery and ensure fully compliant projects.
  • Implement policies and procedures to support project schedules, contractual obligations, and deliver fully compliant projects.
  • Coordinate with project site quality control and MEP teams to ensure successful completion of commissioning activities and follow approved test scripts and commissioning plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited degree program with a minimum of 12 years of general construction experience as a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineer, superintendent, or related position.
  • Minimum of 5 years of commissioning experience bridging field and engineering responsibilities associated with commissioning processes.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of MEP systems and construction processes across all trades, means, and methods, and materials, including Construction Quality Management/Corps of Engineers Certification (USACE), highly recommended.
  • ASHRAE Commissioning certification, desired, and/or in-depth understanding of ASHRAE Commissioning process as it relates to commissioning activities associated with MEP systems, including data center defined commissioning Levels 1 through 5.
  • Experience with building management systems, including environmental controls and electrical power management systems.
  • Ability to interpret contract documents, owner project requirements, drawings, specifications, system schematics, sequence of operations, MEP scopes of work, and project schedules.
Working Conditions

The employee frequently views a computer monitor and frequently uses a computer keyboard. Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders, and negotiate work areas under construction.

The employee is regularly required to be mobile, and the employee occasionally travels both short and long distances via a variety of conveyances.
