Job Summary:

As a Cheese Demonstrator at W. Lee Flowers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for guests. Your primary focus will be on showcasing our cheese selection and offering personalized recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with guests to understand their cheese preferences and provide tailored suggestions.
  • Work closely with cheese representatives to ensure an optimal cheese selection and presentation.
  • Assist guests with product inquiries, demonstrations, and sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelves, counters, and displays.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and DSD Receiver to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and advertising display setup.
  • Process sales, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop effective communication and selling skills to drive sales and customer loyalty.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of cheese and wine pairing.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs consistently and 50lbs occasionally.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
