Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Higher Education team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for growing sales and maintaining the renewal base in your assigned territory. This role requires up to 50% domestic travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the organizational structure, decision-making process, and political considerations in the Education Sector.
  • Call and influence at all levels across accounts.
  • Understand the needs and issues facing Apple's Education customers.
  • Craft sales opportunities and projects to increase sales and establish a dominant share position in Apple's Education accounts.
  • Effectively articulate and present Apple's education leadership messages.
  • Apply Apple's complex sales methodology to find opportunities across accounts.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 8+ years of related experience in education or technology sales.
  • A quantifiable record of success in education or technology sales, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Experience with solution-based approach to solving customer requirements and an understanding of complex sales cycles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background working with channel partners and/or supporting multiple routes to market is highly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in Higher Education and/or SLED is a plus.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
