Job Overview

Fred Loya Insurance is seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling new auto insurance policies, renewing existing ones, and providing exceptional customer service.


Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000-$60,000, depending on experience. As a full-time employee, you will also be eligible for various benefits, including bonus pay, paid training, paid holidays, paid vacation days, and access to health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.


Job Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, your primary duties will include:

  • Providing professional and courteous service to internal and external customers
  • Answering questions regarding customer policies
  • Accepting payments and processing transactions
  • Identifying potential needs of customers regarding their policies
  • FOLLOWING UP WITH CUSTOMERS ON QUOTES, RENEWALS, AND CANCELLATIONS
  • Participating in marketing initiatives for new business development as needed
  • Maintaining a neat and clean work area and office
  • Completing vehicle inspections (FNOLs)
  • Taking vehicle pictures (requiring squatting, bending, and flexing)
  • Banking deposits
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements and qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be bilingual (English/Spanish) or have strong communication skills
  • Dress professionally and maintain a business attire
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Work full-time
  • Pass state licensing requirements
  • Have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Be reliable and have good transportation
  • Be goal-oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability to approach potential clients and offer services
  • Must be assertive and provide a first-rate customer experience
