About the Position:

This part-time position (5 hours per week) offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and fast-paced legal environment. You will have the flexibility to work remotely while still being connected to our office, and you will be responsible for managing attorney calendars, maintaining client information, handling client budgets and billing tasks, and performing various administrative duties as needed. If you have a strong background in administration and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage attorney calendars and maintain client information
  • Handle client budgets and billing tasks
  • Perform various administrative duties as needed
  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings
  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  • Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Computer literate: Word, Excel, Clio a plus
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
