Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technician to join our team at Aleron. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing various activities to support manufacturing, including employing chromatography techniques for purifying antibodies and other proteins according to established procedures.

You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of chromatography equipment, produce and maintain records, complete documents on time, and comply with the requirements of GMP/GLP.

Additionally, you will communicate process and equipment problems and troubleshoot with guidance, participate in meetings, and work independently and in a team.

Regular monitoring and cleaning of lab equipment and lab spaces are also essential responsibilities of this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various activities to support manufacturing
  • Employ chromatography techniques for purifying antibodies and other proteins
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot chromatography equipment
  • Produce and maintain records
  • Communicate process and equipment problems
  • Participate in meetings and work independently and in a team
  • Regular monitoring and cleaning of lab equipment and lab spaces
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology or Chemistry
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in aseptic technique and maintaining mammalian cell lines
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in biology or biochemistry laboratory
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO
  • Good background in time management, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
