Job Summary:

Option Care Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacy Technician II to join our team. As a Clinical Pharmacy Technician II, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and accurate pharmacy operations in accordance with Option Care Health policies & procedures, and the state's professional standards & regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process prescription refills for drugs, PN/high risk, heparin/saline.

Process new drug prescriptions.

Counts, pours, & mixes pharmaceuticals.

Packages products into appropriate containers and labels containers.

Provides training to Clinical Pharmacy Technician I's.

Inventory Maintenance: ensures accurate inventory levels through validation & reporting of received incoming supplies, develops purchase orders to address shortages, validates removal of expired supplies/materials, and schedules deliveries.

Patient Support & Experience: collects & maintains patient data & information for assessments, responds to non-routine patient questions & requests, and provides exceptional patient care.

Site & Supplies Maintenance: cleans & sanitizes surfaces and laminar hood flows, cleans & organizes supplies, and ensures a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.

Must be licensed or registered (if required by state).

Excellent organizational skills and ability to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.

Basic level skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
