Job Summary and Qualifications
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking patient histories and vital signs. You will also prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments, including sterilization of supplies and equipment.
Additional responsibilities include giving injections, assisting with lab testing and phlebotomy, and answering telephone calls to the practice. A successful candidate will have graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or equivalent experience. Certification as a Medical Assistant is highly preferred.
