Four Hands, a leading home furnishing distributor, is seeking a skilled Lift Operator to join its dynamic warehouse team. Based in Austin, TX, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving industry.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that involves operating a Raymond order picker in a narrow, wire-guided warehouse environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient material handling, using RF scanners to accurately pick and verify inventory items, and unloading incoming shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate order picker equipment safely and efficiently to maintain high productivity levels.
  • Use RF scanners to ensure accurate inventory picking and verification.
  • Unload incoming shipments and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
  • Safely place inventory into racking locations using RF scanners.
  • Identify and process items on various paperwork.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure inventory quality.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience operating forklift equipment, specifically an order picker.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day and up to 225 lbs with assistance.
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive hourly wage: $18-$22 per hour based on location and experience.
