Job Description

Overview:

Seminole Gaming is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Casino Host Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Player Development department, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of Casino Hosts and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate complimentary processes with Player Development and other operating departments
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment, and general property information
  • Monitor activities that could affect efficiencies and effectiveness of the department, including internal controls, department rules and regulations, and equipment maintenance
  • Promote the casino by interacting with customers in an enthusiastic and helpful manner
  • Maintain confidentiality of company documents
  • Ensure consistent service standards are maintained
  • Resolve guest complaints and take appropriate action under the direction of the Player Development Executives
  • Greet guests in the casino and participate in social events and special promotions
  • Conduct themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission, Seminole Tribe of Florida, and Player Development department policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of six (6) months of related experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be computer literate
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word is required
  • Must be efficient in Players Club, Hotel Reservations, Casino Marketplace, and administrative functions
  • Must possess exceptional communicative and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to deliver a service level that creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive and memorable entertainment experience
  • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance
  • Must be able to work a variety of schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be team-oriented and must enjoy working with and assisting people
  • Must be able to exercise judgment on an independent basis
  • Must be articulate and possess a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Punctuality and meeting of deadlines is critical

Work Environment:

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area
  • On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including but not limited to, second-hand smoke and excessive noise

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans

First preference in hiring, training, promoting, and in all other aspects of employment is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet the job requirements

Second preference is given to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who meet the job requirements

Employment Process:

Seminole Gaming's employment process requires candidates to obtain gaming licensure by successfully completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to beginning employment
