At Arcadis, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to lead our data center power distribution efforts. As a Senior Data Center Power Distribution Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the electrical discipline of multiple concurrent data center projects through the pursuit, proposal, design, and construction phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design teams to develop construction-ready drawing packages with inter-discipline coordination.
  • Design for available capacity, redundancy, reliability, efficiency, and safety, as well as constructability and cost.
  • Travel to project sites for engineering site surveys, data collection for system studies, system audits, and collaboration with clients' team members.
  • Develop strong industry relationships with other design professionals.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety standards such as NFPA, NEC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UFC, UBC, as well as international standards such as IEC, CE, EN.
  • Fluency in design and modeling software (AutoCAD, Revit, Elum Tools, BIM, SKM, ETAP, EDSA, Easy Power).
  • Perform various system studies (arc flash, load, short circuit, coordination). Experience developing solutions to complex projects.

Requirements:

  • Consulting engineering design experience producing IFC drawings for data centers.
  • BS in electrical engineering or equivalent. 10 years of relevant experience in engineering.
  • State-issued professional engineering license.
  • Experience with telecom and fire alarm design including prescriptive, performance-based design as well as full detailed design.
  • Lean design and construction experience. LEED accredited professional. PMP certification.

We offer nine paid holidays per calendar year depending on start date, and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $98,000 - $120,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
