As a Retail Merchandise Associate, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming and engaging store environment for our customers. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will help you build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.


Key responsibilities of this role include:




  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and back office areas
  • Processing customer purchases and returns, handling cash and credit transactions, and counting change accurately
  • Supporting sales efforts by promoting merchandise, maintaining visual displays, and restocking shelves
  • Participating in visual merchandising and store recovery activities to ensure a visually appealing store environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve sales goals, meet customer needs, and maintain a positive store culture


Requirements for this role include:




  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately handle cash and credit transactions
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of retail experience
