We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team at New Era Technology. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, and commissioning fire alarm systems.

Job Summary

The primary role of this position is to provide exceptional service and support to our clients by ensuring the proper functioning of their fire alarm systems.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Service, inspect, test, and maintain low-voltage systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry/components to resolve technical issues.
  • Pursue career development opportunities through training and certification courses to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in fire alarm service is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CCTV, access control/security systems is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • You must be able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to stand for long periods on a concrete floor and lift equipment weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights exceeding 25 feet is essential.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $35-$38.40 per hour, paid health insurance benefits (medical and vision), and opportunities for growth and development.
