Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Echo Sonographer to join our team at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our Echocardiography Department, you will be responsible for performing echocardiogram studies, assisting cardiologists, and collaborating with the Cath Lab department as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform echocardiogram studies to facilitate the smooth operation of the Echocardiography Department
  • Assist cardiologists with procedures and patient care
  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab department as needed to ensure seamless patient care
  • Strive to promote a professional work environment within the department and the hospital
  • Practice customer service and reflect a caring attitude towards patients and colleagues

Requirements

  • College-level coursework preferred
  • One year or more experience as an echo technologist is preferred
  • A working knowledge of echo equipment is necessary
  • Registered or registry eligible as a cardiac sonographer is preferred
  • Current BLS certification is required
