About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Senior Vice President of New Business Development. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the creation and launch of new, standalone products and businesses that align with our strategic goals and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies that drive engagement and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive strategy and execution.
  • Oversee the development of new products and businesses, leveraging human-centered design principles and rigorous stage-gates to de-risk the development cycle.
  • Partner with editorial teams to create products that meet user needs and engage users deeply.
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team that thinks ambitiously and creatively.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress, challenges, and strategic plans.
  • Monetize products through multiple revenue streams, with a focus on subscriptions.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships that enhance our business capabilities and market position.
  • Act as a clear operational partner for M&A opportunities.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience leading the creation of new products and businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate across the organization and to Executive Leadership.
  • Proven track record in developing and launching successful businesses.
  • Experience creating and executing holistic product strategies that tie into business goals.
  • Experience managing complex projects and delivering results on time.
  • Ability to stay up-to-date on the digital and technological landscape.
