**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospital Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Unity Health. This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

**Job Responsibilities**

Cleaning and Disinfecting

The Hospital Sanitation Specialist will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting patient areas, maintaining a hygienically clean environment, and adhering to infection control policies and procedures. This includes:

  • Cleaning occupied and unoccupied patient areas
  • Maintaining equipment in good working order
  • Requesting cleaning supplies and equipment as needed
  • Handling waste according to proper policy and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to read and write sufficiently
  • The ability to understand written and oral instructions
  • Good physical and emotional well-being
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
