Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Cross Timbers Outpatient Clinic in Edmond, OK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care by taking vitals, patient history, venipuncture, lab, x-ray, referrals, and patient phone messages as directed by the provider and/or clinical supervisor.
  • Contribute to the assessment/re-assessment of patients and participate in the development of the plan of care, including implementation and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions.
  • Monitor and document patient status, and report changes in patient status to the physician and initiate any new orders from the physician as directed.
  • Promote patient satisfaction and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
  • Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant Certification/Registration; OR 6 months of Clinic MA experience; OR the ability to successfully complete the INTEGRIS Health Caregiver Placement Program (CPP).
  • 6 months customer service experience preferred
  • CPR certification within 90 days of employment
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)
Work Environment

This position requires moderate exposure to hazardous risks, including potential for exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, chemicals.

Must follow standard precautions.
