About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at West Jefferson Medical Center. As a diagnostic imaging expert, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced x-ray equipment to produce high-quality exams and ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, address concerns, and ease anxiety.
  • Recognize clinical problems that may interfere with exams and take appropriate action for a positive outcome.
  • Evaluate critical test findings and review anatomic details and abnormalities with radiologists if necessary.
  • Maintain supply levels, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, and report dangerous conditions to the appropriate person.
  • Input and verify data in PACS/RADIANT systems.
  • Promote a safe environment for everyone and adhere to quality control checks.
Requirements
  • ARRT certification and CPR training.
  • Louisiana State Radiology Technologist license.
  • Three to five years of radiology experience (preferred).
