About This Opportunity:

This Electrical Engineering Professional role offers hands-on experience and ownership of projects to build essential engineering skills and make a lasting impact on our organization. Key areas of focus include process improvement, data analysis, documentation, quality control, project support, cross-functional collaboration, ECAD and Design Tool efficiency.

  • Collaborate with design teams to coordinate project designs across disciplines.
  • Support senior engineers in executing technical activities required on assigned projects, ensuring adherence to discipline technical policies and procedures.
  • Create, modify, and manage electrical component libraries, including schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and part number information.
  • Contribute to technical studies, investigations, and designs on assigned projects encompassing systems, circuit boards, and wiring harnesses.
  • Work closely with individual design engineers in the Mechanical and Electrical teams to improve overall reliability and performance of our robotic systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting problems with deployed components/systems, analyzing test data and reports to ensure designs meet functional and performance specifications.
Requirements:
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to use data to guide decision-making.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • A self-starter with the ability to take direction and translate it into action.
  • A desire to learn and make an impactful contribution to the growth and operation of our organization.
  • Pursuing a degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Understanding of database storage, access, and management.
  • Proficient basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel to Pittsburgh (Robinson Twp) manufacturing facilities on a regular basis.
  • Knowledge of 3D Electrical CAD systems.
  • Open to Sophomore, Junior, and Senior applicants.
