Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to steel manufacturing, including performing MIG (Pulse) welding techniques on mild steel materials.

About the Role

  • You will be fabricating and completing units in a set time, using weld fixtures and symbols.
  • Loading metal onto the fixture, using symbols to weld products accurate to prints, and unloading once complete to pass to next department.
  • Operating welding equipment according to job guidelines and verifying work to prints.
  • Operating a variety of hand and power tools such as saws, presses, grinders, etc.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of fabrication experience
  • MIG welding certification
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
