Job Overview

Lifetime Assistance Inc. is a leading provider of community services and vocational training programs.

We are seeking a skilled Vocational Support Specialist to join our team in Rochester, NY.

Responsibilities

The primary goal of this role is to provide support, oversight, education, and vocational skills training to individuals enrolled in our Community Services and Vocational Services programs.

This includes providing supervision, training, and direct assistance as outlined in the Staff Action Plan.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve program goals.

Requirements
  • Associates Degree and one year of related experience; or High school diploma or equivalent and three years of related (pre)vocational and/or human services experience.
  • Ability to meet New York State Child Abuse Registry clearance requirements.
  • Required to meet LAI's Vehicle Operator Requirements.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package and opportunities for professional growth and development.

This full-time position offers 40 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
