Job Summary
The Store Operations Manager will be responsible for managing overall store operations and ensuring the achievement of company goals and directives. This includes supervising daily store activities, implementing new initiatives, and maintaining high standards of customer service and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all customers receive a positive and friendly experience.
- Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Supervise daily store activities, including opening and closing procedures.
- Implement new initiatives and programs to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain high standards of store appearance, cleanliness, and organization.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and efficient receiving procedures.
- Assist with merchandise resets and visual merchandising to maximize sales and customer engagement.
- Recruit, train, and develop store associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to help associates grow and develop in their roles.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment to our company values and mission.
- Collaborate with other store managers and district leaders to share best practices and drive business results.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of retail management experience, preferably in a hardware or home improvement industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing employee engagement.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Compensation Package
$62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package.
