We offer a competitive salary ranging from $51,824 to $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.


Job Description


As a Data Analyst for the Penn Wharton Budget Model, you will contribute to research and model development in Python and R. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Compiling, cleaning, and maintaining datasets using SQL
  • Performing statistical analysis in support of PWBM research projects
  • Analyzing data and creating tables and charts for PWBM publications
  • Contributing to the writing of PWBM publications, such as issue briefs and working papers

Required Skills and Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should possess:



  • A bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R
  • Experience working with microdata or Federal statistical agencies
  • A strong interest in economics and public policy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
