Job Summary

About the Role

This is a dynamic opportunity for an LPN or LVN to join our team as a Medication Care Specialist. In this role, you'll administer medications, conduct Service and Health Updates, and participate in daily Cross Over meetings.

Responsibilities
  • Administer medications and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner
  • Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director (RCD)
  • Participate in daily Cross Over meetings with the Lead Care Manager (LCM)
  • Document medication administration and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information and adhere to Sunrise's Principles of Service
Qualifications
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) credential
  • CPR and First Aid certifications
  • Ability to make choices and decisions in the best interest of residents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
