Sanitation Technician

Job Summary

This role is a key part of our production team, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing production tools, equipment, and machinery, as well as the surrounding area. You will work closely with our Sanitation Supervisor to ensure that all safety regulations are followed and that our quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Obtain work schedule and daily production paperwork and prepare for operations.
• Ensure all necessary tools, equipment, cleaning supplies, and materials are available.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and check on equipment to be used in the daily operations and ensure that all safety devices are functioning properly.
• Perform lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Collect waste and other materials and dispose of them properly.
• Pull, scrape, shovel, and dump materials as needed.
• Use chemicals as required for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Clean equipment and work areas, including the use of high-pressure water hoses.
• Perform general housekeeping tasks.

• Prefer at least one year of manufacturing experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background screen required.
• Post-offer drug screen required.
• Ability to work any shift or work week.
• Overtime availability based on our needs.
