Truss Designer

At GPAC, we're seeking a skilled Truss Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you'll be responsible for creating component designs for shop fabrication based on customer information and project documents.

• Create accurate and detailed designs for residential, commercial, and multi-family roof and floor systems using Alpine software.
• Partner with internal and external customers to ensure accurate estimates and resolve architectural and design discrepancies.
• Maintain job-related files, including project status and electronic filing.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to resolve complex design issues and provide exceptional customer service.

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in truss design.
• Ability to operate computer software, including the Microsoft Suite and proprietary design software.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills.
• College education in architectural design, engineering, or equivalent.
• Ability to work as a team and motivate others.
