Job Summary

TalentMovers is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team in Kearney, NE. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and monitoring of metal cutting machines to ensure the production of high-quality parts meeting customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and/or tend metal cutting machines to produce high-quality parts.
  • Adjust equipment controls to regulate the flow of production materials.
  • Monitor machines and check parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Assist in maintenance and changeover of machinery.
  • Complete paperwork and checks gauges after changeovers.
  • Read process sheets to compute data for proper machining dimensions.
  • Use precision gauging equipment to ensure parts are within specification.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
  • Inspect workpieces for defects and measure workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
