LPN Personal Care Specialist

At HealthEcareers - Client, we are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Charge Nurse to join our dynamic team in Personal Care. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate professional to provide exceptional care to our elderly residents.
The LPN / Charge Nurse will be responsible for supervising Resident Assistants, ensuring the highest quality of care is maintained, and adhering to Corporate Compliance Plan and HIPAA Privacy standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work calmly under stressful conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and complete treatments as per physician's orders
- Makes rounds, checking all residents, and completes nursing documentation on resident records
- Assigns additional duties to Resident Assistants and supervises their work
- Receives written, faxed, and verbal orders per facility policy and maintains safety and infection control standards
- Initiates Incident and Accident reports as needed
