Job Title: Energy Leadership Position

Arbor is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to spearhead the development of our energy decision-making platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding the evolution of our backend infrastructure and tech stack, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Architecture: Develop and implement a robust backend infrastructure to support our platform's growth.
  • Team Stewardship: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Integration and Performance: Optimize system integrations and performance, ensuring peak reliability and scalability.
  • Backend Development: Advance our platform using leading-edge technologies and contemporary backend paradigms.
  • Data Integrity: Safeguard the reliability and coherence of our data, working closely with data architectures.
  • QA and CI/CD: Promote rigorous testing and adhere to CI/CD best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge gaps between product, design, marketing, and business to define objectives and roll out unmatched user experiences.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
  • 2+ years of management experience, with a focus on hiring and team development.
  • Fullstack development fluency, with the ability to navigate and contribute to frontend code occasionally.
  • Hands-on experience with popular backend frameworks and tools.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and CI/CD processes.
  • Competency in GCP, AWS ecosystems, or similar platforms.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down and simplify intricate problems.
  • Keen interest in staying updated with the latest industry trends and backend technologies.
