Lead Veterinarian Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian Lead to join our dynamic team at Southern Veterinary Partners in Wichita, Kansas.

About the Role:
As a Veterinarian Lead, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional veterinary care and leadership to our clients and their pets. You will be responsible for overseeing clinical practices, monitoring associate doctor performance, and contributing to the financial success of our hospital.

Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and manage clinical practices to ensure the highest standard of care
* Monitor associate doctor performance and production
* Contribute to financial performance through revenue generation and expense management
* Communicate with clients regarding physical examination findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans
* Maintain accurate client/patient medical/surgical records
* Participate in Continuing Education meetings to stay up-to-date with new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine

Requirements:
* Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
* Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Kansas
* 3+ years of experience as a veterinarian, required
* 3+ years of leadership/management experience, preferred
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
* Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with clients and staff
