Job Summary:

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while providing exceptional patient care. With a strong foundation in magnetic resonance imaging principles and techniques, you will work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.



Essential Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care:
  • Provide personalized attention to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
  • Explain procedures clearly, addressing patient concerns and fostering trust
  • Maintain accurate records, documenting patient interactions and imaging results
  • Imaging Techniques:
  • Select and apply appropriate imaging parameters to produce optimal results
  • Tune equipment, rectify artifacts, and optimize image quality
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition or sub-optimal image quality
  • Communication and Collaboration:
  • Effectively communicate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in educational activities, staying up-to-date on best practices and industry advancements
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure efficient workflow, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and maintain productivity
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and workspace according to department guidelines
  • Leadership and Training:
  • Provide guidance and training to new staff members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Contribute to a positive work environment, modeling professionalism and respect

What We Offer:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year (estimated salary range)
