Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Leader to join our team at Chick-fil-A Mentor FSU. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining high customer service scores and leading our dynamic team.

About the Role:

This is a part-time or full-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and has excellent leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer-facing environment and be able to motivate and direct team members to achieve their best.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain positive working relationships with all employees and provide direction and feedback to ensure high-quality service.
  • Collaborate with the management team to train and track the performance of new team members.
  • Motivate Team Members to maintain high customer service scores.
  • Ensure timely completion of shift tasks and opening/closing responsibilities.
  • Take ownership of restaurant facilities, ensuring organization and adherence to sanitation and food safety procedures.
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of key positions in both front-of-house and back-of-house.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Associates Degree or higher in a business, hospitality, or culinary-related field, preferred.
  • Must meet availability requirements, including at least 32 hours per week with availability on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Experience as a leader, preferably in a customer service or kitchen environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for up to 10 hours, and be physically active for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, coachable, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members as a supervisor/leader.
  • Understand the federal and local health code regulations (willingness to take certification exam).
