Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Sr. Mgr. Acc. Receivable at Hapag-Lloyd AG, you will be responsible for monitoring accounts receivables and ensuring compliance with the company's financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall collection effort of accounts receivables
  • Handle key customer accounts to collect funds and reduce exposure to bad debt
  • Guide, coach, and support the Accounts Receivable department
  • Develop new business processes and alternative solutions for smoother workflows
  • Prepare weekly account receivable performance reports for Management
  • Ensure all refunds are processed timely and accurately
  • Follow up on payments under credit terms granted
  • Ensure consistent application of Hapag-Lloyd policies to all personnel actions
  • Allocate new accounts to the appropriate coordinators
  • Provide training for staff on new systems, regulations, and requirements

Requirements:

  • University Degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Experience in leading large teams and coaching team members and people leaders
  • Effectively follow Hapag-Lloyd accounting practices in daily accounting and financial analysis work
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to create a customer-centric team culture by understanding the customer's needs and expectations
  • Proficient using MS Office, Word, Excel spreadsheets, and other software to meet work demands

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
