Dining Care Partner

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Dining Care Partner to join our team at The Forest at Duke. As a Dining Care Partner, you will play a vital role in providing individualized care to our residents, promoting their autonomy, potential, and choice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with residents to create personalized menus and provide information to the Dining Leader for food ordering.
- Prepare food according to the daily worksheet and assist residents during meals.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, and clean the kitchen according to the schedule.
- Review refrigerator contents, discard expired items, and restock supplies as needed.
- Participate in cooking, housekeeping, activities, and basic resident care in partnership with the house care team.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Must be able to understand and communicate orally in English.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must complete North Carolina Food Handler Class within the first 90 days of employment.
