Fulfillment Associate Job Description

The Fulfillment Associate plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting daily goals in a fast-paced work environment. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work in various departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pack and ship unique, individual, and customized orders efficiently.
  • Follow all quality assurance and safety standards in the production area to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Meet hourly and daily goals, and communicate challenges to the Supervisor/Manager to ensure seamless operations.
  • Effectively communicate within the organization to ensure smooth workflow and collaboration.
  • Manage lead time and prioritize tasks accordingly to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Propose ideas to improve efficiency in the distribution center to drive continuous improvement.
  • Replenish raw materials (boxes, bubble wrap, etc.) as needed to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on all printed items to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Utilize the ERP system to manage orders throughout the distribution center to streamline operations.
  • Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and promptly notify the supervisor to minimize delays.
  • Assist with kit and collection building to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders.
  • Support secondary packaging and rework tasks to maintain a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Assist in training newly hired employees to ensure a smooth onboarding process and high level of job knowledge.
  • Work nontraditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills in English to ensure clear and concise communication.
  • Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, distribution, packing, or assembly to ensure a strong foundation in the role.
  • Flexibility to work across all shifts as needed to meet business demands.
  • Strong spatial awareness and manual dexterity to handle materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team player to ensure seamless collaboration and communication within the organization.
  • Motivated by fast-paced and changing environments to drive continuous improvement and adapt to new challenges.
  • High attention to detail, focus, and a can-do attitude to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Experience with an ERP/WMAS system is a plus to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to ensure effective communication and data management.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is a plus to ensure effective data analysis and communication.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required to ensure effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is expected to ensure seamless operations and meet business demands.
